I got a question about how to hook up a microphone to the Ring Modulator.  The thing to remember here is that the Ring Mod wants both the input and carrier signals to be line level.  A microphone, even a dynamic mic, does not put out enough voltage by itself, so it has to have a preamp. I use a mono mini amplifier from Radio Shack to amplify the mic signal.

The hookup would be as follows:

Microphone -> Preamp input
Preamp ouptput -> RingMod input
RingMod ouput -> Amplifier input
